The TOR platform
Airframe, propulsion, removable power, flight control, mission compute and sensing payloads. One kit, with SIGMA as the workspace to build, test and run it.
A desktop robot arm kit for learning, experimenting and building useful automation. Start with a gripper, explore new tools, and develop how your machine works with the world.

Inside the arm kit
Planned building blocks
A stable bench base, modular rotary joints, arm links, an interchangeable tool mount and a two-finger gripper. Vision and compute modules would support experiments in perception and manipulation.
The direction: a practical starting point for educators, developers and small automation prototypes.
A wheeled rover kit for taking code into physical spaces. Explore mapping and navigation, then change the sensing modules or payload to give the same platform a different purpose.

Delivery prototypes

Planned building blocks
A modular wheeled chassis, drive units, removable power, onboard compute and configurable camera or range sensing. A common payload deck would leave room for the tools your experiment needs.
The direction: a mobile robotics kit for navigation research, teaching and indoor automation prototypes.
A quadruped robot kit for exploring movement beyond wheels. Build a machine that balances, walks and senses its surroundings, then experiment with the way it responds to the world.

Inside the quadruped kit
Planned building blocks
A modular body, four articulated leg assemblies, interchangeable feet, removable power, onboard compute and forward sensing. A payload mount would let builders explore different sensing tasks on the same machine.
The direction: a platform for learning gait control, balance and perception, from a first walking sequence to more capable autonomous behaviour.
Kits are in development. Included components and release details will be announced. Development visuals show the intended black 3D-printed housings; final hardware may differ.
ONE WORKSPACE. EVERY BUILD.
Different machines. A common foundation. Our ambition is to bring power, compute, sensing and control together through SIGMA, so your next idea can build on what you already know. TOR is where it begins.
We selected these three directions for their practical applications and fit with a modular build-kit platform. The evidence combines established developer ecosystems and broader robotics demand. It informs our product directions; it is not a ranking of kit sales or a forecast of Curvature orders.
01 / Desktop manipulation
Robot learning already has an accessible arm-building ecosystem. Hugging Face’s SO-101 documentation covers sourcing, assembling and calibrating an arm, giving builders a clear route from parts to experiments.
IFR reports 117,500 transport and logistics robots sold in 2025, up 21%. That signals broad mobile automation demand. TurtleBot3’s assembly and navigation resources separately show that wheeled robotics is an established build-kit format.
Petoi’s Bittle construction kits and learning materials show an established build-it-yourself route into quadruped robotics. This makes legged movement a distinct direction for education and locomotion experiments alongside wheeled navigation.
